1968 MGC GT MANUAL OVERDRIVE

At the time of it's introduction at the Earls Court Motor Show of 1967 the MGC GT was the most powerful Sports car to emerge from the MG plant at Abingdon. Powered by a new 3 litre six cylinder engine, this was a Grand Tourer in every sense of the phrase. From the time of the announcement of the MGB in 1962, there was always meant to be a more powerful version and it was only a matter of time before a suitable bigger engine was developed and fitted into the MGB chassis and the MGC was born.
This very appealing example we offer here has been the subject of a rolling restoration over the past ten years. There is evidence, in the history file, of an expenditure totaling over £15000 in that time.
Apart from a full engine, gearbox and overdrive rebuild, the car has been treated to a new interior, full brake overhaul, new chrome wire wheels and new rear springs.
The history file also contains a Heritage certificate showing the car to be a UK market car and a photographic record of the restoration.

Part exchange welcome, ancient and modern, funds either way.
