The MGB Roadster,an icon of your youth in the swinging sixties. It is the archetypal Briyish Sports car. As British as warm beer and fish and chips. It is tough, entertaining and timeless. The B is a remarkable car. Consider the numbers, announced at the start of the sixties. it lasted 28 years before finally departing the motoring scene in 1980. A total of 386,961 roadsters left the Abingdon plant. In later years the B fueled the growth of a remarksble industry geared to maintaining, improving and recreating the brand. Yes, some people sneer that the B is boring but this is nonesense brought about by the Brtish fear of success. The MGB deserves to be at the top of the shopping list for anybody looking for a classic sports car that is practical and affordable as well as stylish.
The very striking example we offer here was rebuilt on a new British Heritage bodyshell. The car comes with Electronic ignition, servo brakes, Kenlowe cooling fan, stainless steel exhaust sytem overdrivw rebuilt by Bromsgrove MG, RV8 front suspension with upgraded vented discs brakes, coil over Spax shock absorbers, chrome wire whells, mohair hood, period Motorola radioo and a Motalita steering wheel.
The car is sold with a massive history file with all MOTs going back to 1998, drivers handbook, extensive service records and rebuild bills totalling many thousands of pounds.
