The Wolseley 15/50 was produced from 1956 to 1958 and was more luxurious than the MG Magnette it's sporting stablemate Both produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC). The Wolseley featured a polished walnut dashboard and door cappings, leather covered seats and an illuminated radiator grille badge. Power came from the BMC 1500CC B series engine.

The superbly presented example we offer here is a credit to its previous owners. The car has covered just 22,000 miles in the last 50 years, all confirmed by the mileage readings on 30 old MOT certificates. Rather than a full restoration, the car has been subject to general improvement and maintenance over the past half century all backed up by invoices and bills contained in the comprehensive history file totalling something like £9000.Part of the improvement includes the recent comlete retrim of the interior trim. Further improvements include the fitting of an Alexander Engineering twin SU carburettor tuning kit and tubular exhaust system.. At the same time the 4.75 final drive differential was replaced with a 4.3 version,resulting in a higher cruising speed.The car also benefits from front seat reel inertia seat belts. The Wolseley is finished in black with a green leather interior.
