The Morris Oxford designed by Farina an Italian design house was introduced to the British motoring public in 1959. The car remained in production right up to 1971. The Farina Oxfords came in Saloon and Estate versions. The Oxfords were powere by the ultra reliable BMC B series 4 cylinder engine with a capacity of 1622 cc. In simple terms the basic body style was shared with the Austin A60, however there were interior differences in seating and dashboard and were built in different factories.
The extremely low mileage exxample we offer here was first registered on thr first of May 1968 in Suffolk and has covered just 33,000 miles since new. The history file contains copious amounts of paperwork to confirm this very low mileage reading. The evidence of this mileage includes the car's original BMC passport to service book with 7 stamps up to1972. Following on from the service records there are MOT certificates going back to 1971 plus written cofirmation of the mileage reading in the late nineties.
The car has never been restored. A walk round the car will confirm that it is amazingky original with a very worn free interior. All pedal rubbers are as new with very little wear, as is the amazing light grey leather upholstery. Little or no wear on the driver's and passenger carpets. The history file also contains a British Motor Heritage certificate.
If you after a B M C product for your collection which is unrestored and has covered such a low mileage, this is the car for you.
