This 1971 MGB Roadster 'Competition/track car' is finished in Tartan red with a white works hardtop. The track car was subject to a comprehensive restoration taking 3 years to complete and costing in excess of £25000. During the rebuild all external panels includung doors,bonnet,boot and front wings were replaced, plus remedial work to sills and floors.Work on the engine included a gas flowed Oselli cylinder head,Piper 717 camshaft,balanced crankshaft and flywheel. The engine was blueprinted and a Weber 45 carburettor fitted. Which resulted in 130 bhp power output. The car was then treated to Sebring valances and a works hardtop.The front suspension was replaced with a Moss independent suspension set up.All suspension components were replaced including new dics,uprights and hubs.

Inside the cockpit a new FIA spec roll cage.fire extinguisher, Cobra racing bucket seats, full saftey harness plus exterior ignition isolation switch. The car rides on 15 in Minilite alloy wheels shod with Yokohama S306 tyres. The car comes with overdrive. The car has covered just 10,000 miles since completion of the rebuild.
